In addition to having her midwifery license, Amanda has her IBCLC certification and can offer private consultations for families. These visits are free for families with infants up to 6 weeks of age, as MSP covers them if your care provider can send a referral. If your baby is older than 6 weeks she charges a reasonable fee for her services.

The first few weeks of breastfeeding are a critical time for establishing milk supply, learning how to latch and trouble-shooting all the little challenges that can come up when you are adjusting to caring for your new baby. Combining professional knowledge and education with years of experience, Amanda can help you achieve your feeding goals using realistic, reasonable and compassionate plans. Additional services include oral assessments (for suspected or known tongue/lip ties), evidence-based breast pump flange fitting and infant craniosacral therapy for latching issues.
